Frozen North

The Frozen North is a vast arctic expanse beyond the Dragon Mountains.

Geography

The Dragon Mountains form the high wall at the region's southern threshold. Beyond the pass, the Frozen North spreads across immense lowlands and coast rather than continuing as one alpine range.

Much of the region lies near sea level. Its frozen coast includes wind-tossed water, drifting icebergs, seals and other arctic life.

The territory represented by familiar roads and settlements is only a small part of the wider north. Maps that compress it into a single short route do not show its true scale.

Travel

The overland approach runs through Dragon Valley, over the Dragon Mountains and onward into the northern expanse.
