The Nexus

The Nexus is an ancient waypoint and the present-day hub of Icaria's waygate network.

Loss and restoration

The Nexus was lost during the dark age. Iros later rebuilt it by drawing on power that still lingered in Icaria's leylines.

Iros is the Nexus's caretaker. His role is custodial rather than sovereign.

The restored Nexus connects distant regions through its waygates. It also serves as a center of travel, exchange and the realm's auction trade.

Icarian tradition treats the Nexus as the visible emblem of the restoration age.
